Alexx Henry is a photographer. At least that’s what his web site says. But is he really? Sure, if you look at the web site you’ll see still images. When you look at his blog though, then you have to ask, “What business is this guy really in?” Is Alexx Henry a photographer, videographer, director? Watching the video for Outside Magazine’s October 2009 cover shoot I am hard pressed to come up with one answer.
“If you deliver exactly what the client expects you’re not doing your job”, is one of Alexx’s favorite quotes. The Hallmark Channel discovered exactly what that meant when they hired him for a print and online campaign. Instead of simply meeting their expectations he pitched them on a unique idea, “The Living One Sheet” which is in essence a movie poster that…well…moves.
So, what business is this guy really in? I think, maybe he’s in the, “Exceeding Client’s Expectations” business. What do you think?
